The Marengo Chamber of Commerce welcomes all local businesses, clubs, organizations, churches, and home businesses to become members. Annual memberships run from January through December. Membership levels are based on the type of organization and number of employees.
Monthly meetings are held the last Wednesday of each month. Generally meetings are held at the Marengo Public Library, 235 E Hilton St, but sometimes other locations throughout the community are used. Meeting notices will be e-mailed to members who provided an e-mail address. Your membership is welcomed regardless if you are able to regularly attend the monthly meetings. Throughout the year we will have other opportunities to participate if your schedule allows.
One of the benefits for Chamber members is that your business is listed individually on this website. Members are able to have their own personalized web page, advertising your business or organization. You may also advertise specials for your business or include help wanted ads.
The Chamber of Commerce helps support events such as the annual 3rd of July celebration, the annual pancake breakfast held at the American Legion, Watermelon Days and the Fall Festival. Together members provide the banners throughout the town square celebrating the events/seasons of the year.
The main goal of the Chamber is to promote our community along with economic growth and development. We want to develop a strong business community here in Marengo, promoting your business and encouraging others to join us. Your new membership, along with our current members, will be instrumental in helping build a strong Marengo business community.
